lyrics

Bubble Pop

What you looking at?
What you looking at?
Steal my time away.

Where you coming from?
Where you coming from?
Keep my mind at bay.

Tell me what I think, tell me what I know,
Make me think that I don't know.
We better get ready, we better get ready
To see the other side (See the other side).

Offer me nothing.
Offer me nothing.
Sell it to me anyway.

What's this "Fight for Peace"?
What's this "Fight for Peace"?
Scare me with your doomsday news.

Making me think I'm on your side,
Here we go just for the ride!
We better get ready, we better get ready
To see the other side (See the other side).

None of this is news to you,
The streaming your daily blues.
Then offer me solace in another way.

Commercial breaks say, "Use every drop!”
And squash the show that would help me stop.
Making me want it anyway.

Making me something that won't last,
Making money, it's a blast!
We better get ready, we better get ready
To see the other side (See the other side).

Round and round the mulberry bush
The monkey chased the weasel.
That's the way the money goes round
Pop! goes the weasel.
